Electrical Switchboard Repair
If installing a new air conditioning system it is important to consider the electrical load required. Your mains and or switchboard may need an upgrade in order to cope with the extra load. We can assist you with an assessment of your electrical needs.
Specific models of splits systems are capable of participating in programs designed to reduce the operating load of your air conditioning system during peak supply demand periods. Acton Air, Daikin, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Kelvinator, LG, Panasonic, and Samsung Electronics utilise a PeakSmart Some Mitsubishi models utilise a DRED (Demand Response Enabling Device) interface. Both operate by communicating with the participating energy provider in order for the unit to seamlessly know when to reduce the load because of the demand response. This is done without affecting your comfort. We would be happy to explain the concepts to you further and assess whether this is an option suitable to your needs.

It generally takes about three to six hours to do a domestic switchboard upgrade.
Most domestic mains upgrades take about four to eight hours.
